Coleman Event Shelter 12×12
The 12×12 Event shelter from Colemans is classed as the ‘little brother’ of the popular event shelter.
The 12×12 version has all the features of the larger version.
However, due to it being smaller it provides more versatility to those who may have smaller gardens or maybe your just using it to shelter less people.

Is it Windproof?
As with all the event shelters from Colemans this shelter is also very strong in windy conditions.
As you’ll also read further down it is also very sturdy in windy conditions but what you will find is that it can break easily if you attempt to build it in windy conditions.
Clearly, the tip is to ensure you keep an eye out on the forecast before attempting to build.
Once you have built the shelter and have the pegs and guy ropes in place you will find it is very sturdy, just bear in my what we said above.
The Canopy flysheet is made of Polyester fabric, however, this isn’t what actually keeps you dry. The Polyester fabric is covered with a Polyurethane coating which is also given a measure of how much

Review Score Explained
Every Pro & Con has been detailed below to help you. Check them out.
Easy To Build
This Shelter is easy to build. It takes generally 2 people approximately 15 minutes to erect, maybe slightly longer on the first occasion but after that it should take no longer than the 15 minutes first mentioned.
The ease of build is also affected by the weather. As we mentioned above do not attempt to build the shelter in windy conditions as although the shelter is strong it very easy to damage when building it in wind.
UV Guard – Sun Protection
This feature has a Sun protection factor of 50+ and combined with the proper use of Sun Tan lotion offers great protection against the Sun’s harmful ultra violet rays. It’s generally not really a feature that you would Google but when looking at this Event Shelter’s features it’s actually one that afterwards you are quite grateful for.
Definitely a good thing….
It Really Is Size That Matters
This 12×12 shelter is actually what you’re going to get, however, the point is that for 12×12 it really does seem massive. This may be accentuated by the open sides of the gazebo giving it a much more sizeable feel.
We’ve highlighted this safety measure as often safety is slightly overlooked. This feature is peace of mind when it comes to safe guarding your guests in the shelter. Fire retardant means that it can still catch fire but it will burn very slowly for a short time and then self extinguish itself in a matter of secondsback to menu ↑
